Reading Review #1
Here's a friendly reminder that your first reading review is due in class next week. While you've already attended a reading this quarter (last week's reading/visit with Lance Olsen counts...), I highly recommend you check out the Wordstock Festival this weekend. Dozens of amazing writers will be participating, and ticket prices are very, very reasonable at $3.

I took a couple of personal leave days off and attended Wordstock last weekend. I'm really glad that I did, every reading that I attended was really great, from the very small ones early in the morning attended by mabe 15 or 20 people to the big guns later in the day.
Some of the highlights for me were
Colson Whitehead
Dave Eggers
Gore Vidal
L.A Banks (she writes vampire novels)
And CCC's very own Jim Grabill
I am really going to try to make this an anual thing, its an amazing event for stirring ideas.
